ChargeClub now compares 20 EV home charging reward programs across Canada, including 14 programs verified directly by providers.
ChargeClub has reached a new milestone: our directory now includes 20 EV home charging reward programs available to Canadian drivers.
What started as an effort to make a small and confusing group of programs easier to compare has quickly grown into a much broader resource. Canadian EV owners now have more options than ever to earn money, points, rebates, or other rewards simply by charging their vehicle at home.
20 programs, all in one place
ChargeClub brings these programs together so EV owners can compare important details without having to search through individual provider websites, FAQs, terms and conditions, and promotional pages.
Depending on the program, rewards can include:
- Cash payments based on the number of kilowatt-hours used for home charging
- Points or gift cards

Accuracy is one of our main priorities.
Of the 20 programs currently listed on ChargeClub, 14 have been reviewed or confirmed directly by the program provider and are identified with a Provider Verified badge.
For other programs, we use information published by the provider and clearly identify the listing as self-reported by the provider when we have not yet received independent confirmation.
We also continue to review program websites and update listings as rates, eligibility requirements, compatible chargers, and other conditions change.
Why are companies paying people to charge their EVs?
For many EV owners, the idea of being paid to charge at home sounds unusual.
Many of these programs are connected, directly or indirectly, to Canada's clean fuel credit market. Electricity used to charge an EV can help generate valuable environmental credits. Program operators can aggregate eligible charging activity and share part of that value with participating drivers.
