About this program
ChargeLab Rewards pays eligible Canadian homeowners 10¢/kWh for qualifying home charging connected to the ChargeLab platform.
Eligibility
Legal residents of Canada who are at the age of majority in their province or territory and own a qualifying charger at a single-family residence. Fleet, commercial, multi-tenant and shared-use chargers are not eligible. There are no subscription or network fees, and participants may opt out at any time.

Other home chargers that properly support OCPP 1.6 or newer may also be compatible, although some require additional configuration before eligibility can be confirmed.
The charger must remain connected to the internet and the ChargeLab app.
Reward structure details
Reward rate
10¢/kWh
ChargeLab is also offering a one-time $100 loyalty bonus for eligible participants who enroll by November 1, 2026 and meet its connection and charging requirements through March 31, 2027. Starting in 2027, participants can also earn a $50 bonus for each six-month period with at least 2,000 eligible kWh, up to $100 per year.
Payout
Rewards are calculated and paid quarterly, with a $5 minimum quarterly payout. Current payouts are provided as digital gift cards. ChargeLab says it plans to move to cash payouts by the end of 2026.
