About this program
Charging Right rewards eligible Ontario EV owners for home charging recorded through a supported Level 2 smart charger. Three plans offer rates from 3¢/kWh to 16¢/kWh depending on the selected plan and eligible charging volume.
Eligibility
Available for residential home charging in Ontario with a supported OCPP-compatible Level 2 smart charger. The charger must be registered exclusively with Charging Right and stay connected so eligible charging can be recorded.

Not every OCPP-compatible charger is automatically eligible. Confirm your charger model with Charging Right before enrolling.
The Premium Plus plan includes an Injet Nexus Level 2 charger.

Rates increase by 1¢/kWh for each additional 1,000 kWh of eligible charging, up to the selected plan's maximum. Premium and Premium Plus membership fees are reimbursed as part of the annual rebate, subject to program terms. The Premium Plus first-year package includes an Injet Nexus charger.
Payout
Rewards are paid annually, generally in Q2 of the following year after the applicable credits are issued and monetized.
