About this program
EcoWatt rewards eligible home charging recorded through a compatible connected TechnoVE charger. The current indicative rate is 12¢/kWh. The rate is variable and reviewed annually. Future rates may increase or decrease.
Eligibility
Available to participants with a compatible TechnoVE charger that is correctly configured for EcoWatt. The charger must remain connected to a reliable internet connection and be able to transmit eligible charging data.

Compatibility by charger age
2026 chargers are already compatible with EcoWatt.
TechnoVE chargers from 2020 to 2025 may require an EcoWatt Wi-Fi card update before they can participate.
TechnoVE chargers manufactured before 2020 are not eligible.
Chargers with a display are not compatible with EcoWatt. RFID chargers without Wi-Fi are also not eligible.
Reward structure details
Current indicative rate
12¢/kWh
The rate is variable and reviewed once a year in July. It may increase or decrease after a future review.
Payout
Rewards are settled annually and normally paid between July and August. Participants receive a detailed annual statement and payment by cheque.
The first payment for the current program cycle is expected in summer 2027.
