About this program
Electric Avenue's Homeowner Rebate Program pays eligible residential EV drivers 13¢/kWh for home charging recorded through Electric Avenue's network across all Canadian provinces and territories. Eligible charging has been tracked since August 1, 2026.
Eligibility
Available to eligible homeowners across all Canadian provinces and territories with a residential charging station connected to Electric Avenue's Charging Station Management System (CSMS).
Hardware & vehicle requirements
Compatible chargers
Electric Avenue residential chargers are eligible. Third-party residential chargers supporting OCPP 1.6 should also be compatible once connected to Electric Avenue's CSMS, but Electric Avenue does not publish a formal compatibility list.
Reward structure details
Reward rate
13¢/kWh at a flat rate. Eligible charging is tracked retroactively beginning August 1, 2026.
Payout
Rewards are paid by e-transfer. Electric Avenue says the first payments are expected in early 2027.
