About this program
Electric Avenue's Homeowner Rebate Program pays eligible residential EV drivers 13¢ for each kWh charged through a residential charging station connected to Electric Avenue's Charging Station Management System (CSMS). Electric Avenue says the program includes its own residential charging stations as well as compatible third-party EV charging stations connected to its backend through the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP). The rewards are funded through value generated under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations. Eligible charging is being tracked retroactively beginning August 1, 2026. Enrollment is open now, participating homeowners are expected to begin receiving monthly reports showing estimated payout amounts in fall 2026, and the first payments are expected in early 2027.
Eligibility
Electric Avenue states that enrollment is open to eligible homeowners with a residential charging station networked to its Charging Station Management System (CSMS). The September 10 announcement does not publish a province-by-province eligibility list or additional detailed eligibility conditions. ChargeClub has contacted Electric Avenue for clarification.

Reward structure details
Electric Avenue advertises a flat payment of 13¢ per eligible kWh charged. Eligible charging is being tracked retroactively beginning August 1, 2026. Beginning in fall 2026, participating homeowners are expected to receive a monthly report showing their estimated payout amount, which can be compared with energy-dispensed data in the Electric Avenue app. The first payments are expected to be issued in early 2027. Electric Avenue has not yet publicly specified the payout method, minimum payout, ongoing payment schedule, fees, or whether the 13¢/kWh rate is guaranteed for a fixed period.
