About this program

Foresta Carbon Rewards allows Québec residents with eligible Wallbox chargers to earn rewards for verified home EV charging. The program uses carbon-credit revenue to compensate participants for eligible electricity used to charge their vehicles.

Eligibility

Available to Québec residents with an eligible Wallbox charger installed at a private residence. Participants connect their charger through the Foresta app, and Foresta verifies the charger's serial number before approving enrollment. Rewards apply only to eligible charging recorded after enrollment approval.

Reward structure details

Foresta currently estimates rewards at approximately 13¢/kWh, based on carbon-credit market conditions. The final rate may be higher or lower.

For example, 3,000 eligible kWh would generate approximately $390 at the estimated rate.

Rewards are processed annually after the corresponding carbon credits have been verified and monetized. There is no participation fee.
