About this program
HoneyBadger's Home Charge Dividend Program provides eligible British Columbia residents with a HoneyBadger-owned home charger and contributes up to $300 toward its installation. In return, HoneyBadger collects the carbon credits generated through the program and pays qualifying participants a home-charging dividend.
Eligibility
Available in British Columbia and intended primarily for residents of houses and townhomes. Wi-Fi is required. HoneyBadger offers condo residents a separate charging service that is not part of the Home Charge Dividend Program.
Hardware & vehicle requirements
HoneyBadger supplies an Autel AC Lite charger with a maximum output of 12 kW and the customer's choice of an NACS or J1772 connector. HoneyBadger retains ownership of the charger. It covers up to $300 of the installation cost, and the customer pays any amount above that limit. Customers who cancel must provide 60 days' written notice and return the charger in working condition at their own cost. If HoneyBadger ends the agreement, it provides 60 days' written notice, removes the charger at its own cost and reinstalls the customer's previous setup where applicable.
Reward structure details
Participants must record at least 300 kWh of eligible home charging during a quarter to qualify for the 4¢/kWh reward. There is no payout limit.
