About this program
RoadToEV is an approved charging network operator that collects eligible home-charging data from Tesla Wall Connectors and reports it under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations. Participants receive a share of the proceeds as credits in their RoadToEV wallet.
Eligibility
Homeowners across Canada using an eligible Tesla Wall Connector. RoadToEV may credit eligible charging back to April 1, 2026 if the historical charging data can be retrieved and verified. A Tesla Wall Connector can be registered with only one carbon-credit program during a calendar year. Enrollment remains in effect through December 31 of the current calendar year. Existing participants can withdraw for the following year during the annual January 1 to January 15 withdrawal window.

The charger must be connected to Wi-Fi, registered to your Tesla account and linked through the RoadToEV app for eligible charging sessions to count.

Referral rate increases take effect the day after the applicable milestone is reached and are not retroactive.
Payout
Final rewards for a calendar year are expected in Q2 of the following year, by approximately July 1. Eligible Carbon Credits can be withdrawn once per calendar year by Interac e-Transfer, with a $20 minimum wallet balance.
