About this program
A guaranteed annual rebate of up to $0.06 for every kWh charged at home. Canadians who install the Listo EMS in a home or townhome are automatically enrolled in Unico Power's Carbon Credit Rebate Program. No deposit, minimum electricity usage or membership is required. Once the charger is installed and the EMS is activated, customers are guaranteed to earn 2¢ to 6¢ for every kWh charged. The applicable per-kWh rate is determined by the province where the hardware is installed, and the full annual rebate is paid during Q1 of the following year. Unico Power states that Listo EMS enables Level 2 EV charging in townhomes and single-family homes without an electrical service or panel upgrade.
Eligibility
Listo EMS and an EV charger must be installed by an authorized installer in accordance with local codes. The EMS must be activated and connected to the internet to begin earning rewards.
Hardware & vehicle requirements
A purchased Listo package: a Level 2 charger plus the Listo EMS controller, which mounts beside the electrical panel and runs off a 120V outlet. Charger options are the Listo Elite (40A) and Listo Elite+ (48A), both rated NEMA 3R, and a 40A Premium weatherproof unit rated NEMA 4, with an 18 ft or 25 ft cable and a J1772 connector (NACS available at extra cost). The Elite and Elite+ carry a two-year standard warranty, while the Premium carries a three-year standard warranty. Unico Power markets the Listo system as Canadian-made and CSA certified. Packages start at $1,495. The EMS dynamically monitors and controls up to three electrical loads, so a second or third charger can be added later without a panel upgrade. The Listo EMS and the charger must be installed by an authorized installer in accordance with local codes. The EMS must be installed, activated and connected to the internet for rewards to accrue.
