Hypercharge launches Home Club with 3¢/kWh then 11¢/kWh for home EV charging
Hypercharge Home Club provides a Level 2 charger with a $299 refundable deposit and rewards eligible home charging at 3¢/kWh initially, then 11¢/kWh after 1,500 kWh.

Hypercharge has launched Hypercharge Home Club, a new residential EV charging rewards program for eligible drivers across Canada. The program combines a Hypercharge Home Level 2 charger with cash rewards for eligible charging at home.
Members join with a $299 refundable deposit and receive a Hypercharge Home Level 2 charger. Rewards start at 3¢/kWh from the first eligible home charging session. Once the charger records 1,500 kWh of eligible charging, the reward rate increases to 11¢/kWh for future eligible charging. The higher rate is not retroactive.
The $299 deposit is also refunded after the 1,500 kWh milestone is reached, provided the program requirements are met and the milestone is reached within the program's two-year deadline. Hypercharge offers the charger with either a J1772 or NACS connector, with plug-in and hardwired configurations available.
Rewards are sent by Interac e-Transfer once the member's balance reaches $100, with eligible payouts processed monthly. Hypercharge's terms also state that, at launch, there is no monthly or annual cap on rewards.
Home Club is supported by value generated from eligible residential EV charging under Canada's Clean Fuel Regulations. Hypercharge says this value helps fund the program, including the deposit-refund model and customer rewards.
Hypercharge submitted Home Club directly to ChargeClub on launch day and subsequently reviewed the program information published on ChargeClub. The listing is now marked Provider Verified, indicating that Hypercharge has reviewed and confirmed the program details shown on the site.
